Prince Harry was 'nervous' compared to his 'confident' wife when the royal pair appeared together at this year's Invictus Games, a body language expert has revealed. Meghan Markle arrived at the 2023 Invictus Games on Tuesday, 12 September and apologised for 'being late to the party'. Harry, who founded the games in 2014, gave his wife the spotlight and centre stage to give a poignant speech to the 1,600 attendees, including competitors, friends and family.
Addressing the audience, the mum-of-two told them why she missed the opening of the day's games, explaining she was spending time with her two young children in Los Angeles – including taking her eldest, Archie, to school before leaving for Germany. Now body language expert Darren Stanton has shared his thoughts on the moment the married pair took to the stage, just hours after Meghan landed in Germany for the event. Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots, Darren said: “Meghan appeared very confident as she gave a speech alongside Prince Harry.
"She gave very positive, confident body language. She displayed a lot of open palm gestures, which is a sign of honesty and trust. She’s clearly very used to being on stage.
Just with her eye contact and voice tone, she projects very well and she’s very used to giving public talks. It was very much the Meghan show." He explained that Meghan tends to show signs of pride when Harry is speak, such as putting her hands to her mouth and smiling. But he went on to say that he didn't see a reciprocal reaction from Harry, commenting: "I think he was holding back slightly.
The Invictus Games clearly means a lot to him and it’s his baby.
