Prince Harry has been thinking about spending six months in the UK to take on a new Royal role, but Meghan Markle isn't keen on the idea, according to Royal expert Tom Quinn. He said that Harry was really upset when he found out his dad had cancer and wanted to do something to help.
But, because of all the things he and Meghan have said about the Royal Family recently, it's unlikely they'd let him come back as a part-time Royal. The royal author told The Mirror: "Harry knows he will never be allowed to be a permanent part-time working royal staying six months in the States and then six months in the UK," and "The family no longer trust him and, besides, Meghan is absolutely against it.
There is far too much bad blood now for it to be even a remote possibility." Even though Meghan doesn't want Harry to spend half the year in the UK, he still wanted to offer his help to show he cares about his family.
But with so much tension between them, it's doubtful the royals would let Harry back into the fold.
Tom said: "Harry was apparently visibly shocked and upset when he heard that his father had cancer. Having lost his mother aged 12 he had come to assume that, whatever their ups and downs, his father would enjoy the longevity enjoyed by the late Queen and Prince Philip.
