Matthew Perry's will has left more than $1million in a trust he set up and named after a Woody Allen film character, according to the Daily Mail. The Friends star died at age 54 on October 28 last year, being found “unresponsive in the pool" at his residence.
It was later confirmed that his passing was due to the effects of Ketamine, but ruled an accident. It has now been reported that the actor, who was honoured at The Oscars last weekend, decided in 2009 to leave 'a majority of his belongings to a trust', creating one which is said to be named the 'Alvy Singer Living Trust', the same name as Woody's character in the 1977 rom-com Annie Hall.
The will, said to be created in 2009, is said to lists the trust beneficiaries. Matthew's father John Perry and mother Suzanne Morrison are named, along with his half-sister Caitlin Morrison and his ex-girlfriend Rachel Dunn, who he dated from 2003 until 2005, are also listed as beneficiaries.
It also stated that any children he had would not be entitled to access his estate, reports People Magazine, however, the actor never had any children. In addition to the trust, Matthew is thought to have had 'a little over $1 milllion' in personal property, while a woman named Lisa Ferguson and Mike Myers' ex-wife Robin Ruzan are listed as co-executors of the will.
Matthew and Robin are thought to be friends and worked on game show Celebrity Liar together in 2010. Most famed for his role in Friends of Chandler Bing, which he portrayed for 10 series, Matthew also popped up on the big screen multiple times throughout his career.
The late actor was known for his leading roles in films Fools Rush In (1997), The Whole Nine Yards (2000), Serving Sara (2002) and 17 Again (2009).
