I’m bringing indie back, 100 per cent!”He also went on to explain how the record was inspired by the sounds of indie sleaze – a direction he was looking to explore much further for the follow-up.“Indie sleaze to me is MIA, Santigold, The Strokes, LCD Soundystem.
I recommend you go listen to my album and I think you might tap in.”He added: “I’m working on the deluxe of the debut album, and then album two, let’s go. We’re going sleazier, we’re going poppier.
We’re live, man – we’re live. We’re going to go crazy with it.”Check out the full list of winners from the Ivor Novellos 2024 here.
