The image rights firm of Mason Greenwood has been voluntarily placed into liquidation, with the Manchester United forward set to pocket over half a million pounds as a result.
The Mirror reports that information published on Companies House documents shows a voluntary liquidator was assigned for TSM Sports - Greenwood's image rights company - on March 1. After paying all the bills, Greenwood, who is currently playing on loan for Getafe in Spain, will earn an estimated profit of £508,862.50.
The forward set up TSM Sports back in the summer of 2019. Among the sponsors who dropped Greenwood was Nike, after Manchester United suspended him during a police investigation. Greenwood hasn't played for United since January 2022 after he was arrested by Greater Manchester Police.

Charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) in February 2023 owing to the withdrawal of key witnesses and "new material that came to light." Following the decision by the CPS, United conducted their own internal investigation which lasted several months. After the club's investigation was concluded, United decided to send Greenwood out on loan with La Liga side Getafe for the rest of the 2023/24 season.
