The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time‘s Deku Tree may be released later this year, according to known Lego leakers.READ MORE: ‘Persona 3 Reload’ is shaping up to be a must-play remakeAccording to known leakers ‘Brickmerge’ and ‘1414falconfan‘ on Instagram, The Great Deku Tree Lego set could be released in September 2024 and consists of 2,500 pieces. This would be the first set based on The Legend Of Zelda franchise and would come off the back of several collaborations with Nintendo for both Animal Crossing and Mario.Rumor: Could this Zelda lego set be coming soon? pic.twitter.com/2Kea6I6FTT— Zelda Gif World (@GifZelda) February 3, 2023Last year a potential leaked image of the Lego Deku Tree appeared online, supposedly coming from an internal survey that featured other allegedly in-production sets such as a Rivendell set from Lord Of The Rings, which was later confirmed as being real, leading to speculation that the Lego Deku Tree could also be real.Lego later started copyright striking any YouTube video that reported on the leaks, further leading credence to the suspicion that the leak was legit and that a set based on The Legend Of Zelda was coming sooner rather than later. The latest game in The Legend Of Zelda franchise, The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, launched last year and was nominated for several awards, including Game Of The Year at The Game Awards.

‘May December’s Breakout Star Charles Melton On Walking The Red Carpet In Cannes, ‘Riverdale,’ And The Secret Of Making Good Kimchi

Charles Melton has had a good year; although saying farewell to Riverdale hit him hard, he went head-to-head with Natasha Lyonne for an episode of Poker Face and earned a Golden Globe nomination for his role in Todd Haynes’ May December. Sandwiched between Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore, the U.S.-born actor with Korean roots handled himself impeccably, playing the husband of Gracie (Moore), an older woman once sent to prison for molesting him as a minor. Melton brings a diffident grace to the part, which is crucial to the film’s unfolding when actress Elizabeth Berry (Portman) turns up.

‘Lift’ Review: Netflix’s Derivative Kevin Hart Caper Never Takes Off

Michael Nordine author A case study in the downside of timeliness, “Lift” is a caper predicated on a truly ludicrous concept: an NFT increasing in value. That might have seemed plausible two years ago, when Netflix first acquired Daniel Kunka’s spec script, but F. Gary Gray’s followup to “Men in Black: International” has the misfortune of arriving shortly after the vast majority of non-fungible tokens were deemed officially worthless.

SAG Awards Throw Oscar Curveballs: Penelope Cruz and Sterling K. Brown Hit, but Will A24 and ‘May December’ Strike Out?

Clayton Davis Senior Awards Editor The SAG Awards nominations provided an exciting blend of usual suspects and stunning omissions. For some awards season strategists — particularly the ones behind critically adored films like “Anatomy of a Fall” and “May December” — there’s no choice but to ask, “what happened?” The SAG Awards’ pearl anniversary brought expected mentions for Oscar contenders such as the two summer smash hits “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer,” leading the tally for all movies with four nominations each. In addition, the crime epic “Killers of the Flower Moon” and the satirical dramedy “American Fiction” managed three mentions.

Why ‘May December’s’ Use of ‘The Go-Between’ Score During Viral Hot Dog Scene Is Problematic

Jon Burlingame Taking an old film score and dropping it into a new film is “like wearing somebody else’s underwear,” veteran composer Earle Hagenused to say. Hagen, the Oscar-nominated, Emmy-winning composer of such classic themes as “The Andy Griffith Show,” “The Dick VanDyke Show” and “The Mod Squad,” would have been appalled by the musical choices in Netflix’s “May December.” A scene from that film, with Julianne Moore opening her refrigerator door to a melodramatic piano cue, has gone viral. It’s a funny moment if you don’t recognize that music.

It’s not controversial to say the “Star Wars” fandom has its fair share of toxicity, especially when it comes to misogyny and racism. Is ‘May December’ a Comedy?

Owen Gleiberman Chief Film Critic Every few years, the Golden Globe awards have a category hiccup. In 2015, the Ridley Scott/Matt Damon Robinson-Crusoe-in-space sci-fi movie “The Martian” was nominated (and won) for best motion picture — musical or comedy, even though the movie contained no songs and no one thought it was a comedy. A month ago, in that same category, the Globes gave a nomination to “May December,” Todd Haynes’ acclaimed but hard-to-categorize film based, not so loosely, on the true story of Mary Kay Letourneau.
