People who are looking to make a chunk of free cash by taking advantage of banking sign-up bonuses have just days left to get £175 for simply opening a new bank account, with the offer due to expire Monday (April 22).
Just last month, almost every high street bank was competing with each other for new customers, offering up to £200 for people to swap their current accounts over to their service. But now, with many of these offers coming to an end, there is only one bank left offering free cash for anyone looking to move over and Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis says you have just days to take advantage of the free cash.
First Direct, a division of HSBC and the last bank offering a switching bonus, will give away £175 to any new customer who moves their main account over and pays £1000 into the account within 30 days of opening it. To complete a bank switch, you must close an old account and open a new one with the bank via the Current Account Switch Service, which is usually completed via the bank you are applying with.
