Manchester's sole Michelin Star restaurant, mana in Ancoats, has announced it is to open on Sundays for the first time. And they have announced they are to reduce their prices AGAIN in a bid to be "more accessible to those who want to visit us".
Mana has held the Michelin Star since 2019, becoming the first Manchester city centre restaurant to do so since the 1970s. Gaining a star from the Michelin Guide's inspectors is considered the highest foodie honour in the restaurant world.
Chef patron Simon Martin announced last year that they were reducing the price of their acclaimed multi-course menus in a bid to make the venue "more accessible" to diners, from £195 down to £175. Now another £10 is coming off the set menu prices.

"Ultimately, our schedule should allow our work to be shared with as many people as possible, whilst also enabling our team to have an incredibly positive work-life balance.
"We’ve decided to make some changes to our opening hours and pricing. From speaking to our guests, we’ll now be open on Sundays, and therefore, from the 8th of May, we’ll be here for you to enjoy the experience we provide for the whole weekend."
They added that prices will be lowered by another £10 from current prices. Diners can choose from the "Complete" menu at £165 with 14 courses or "Extracts" for a smaller
