Berkshire Live, the peak and off-peak delivery model, which is used by many major UK supermarket chains, was scrapped last week. Martin Lewis' website MoneySavingExpert says that where prices would range from £2 to £7 per slot, the flat fee for delivery will now cost £4.50.Those who get their goods delivered from a 'fulfilment centre' will have to pay £5.50 per delivery.The charges don't end there.
