EXCLUSIVE: Martin Bobb-Semple has been upped to series regular for Season 3 of All American: Homecoming.
In the Nkechi Okoro Carroll-created series, Bobb-Semple portrays Orlando “Lando” Johnson, a college baseball player who is initially introduced as an antagonist from a rival school toward the end of Season 1. He transfers to Bringston University in the second season and quickly becomes involved in a love triangle of sorts with Simone [Geffri Maya] and Damon [Peyton Alex Smith]. Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger, as Simone supposedly professes her love to either Damon or Lando…but viewers don’t see who it is.
All American: Homecoming is a young adult sports drama set against the backdrop of the HBCU experience at Bringston University, where Black excellence is a way of life. No Season 3 premiere date has been announced as of yet.
The series stars Geffri Maya, Cory Hardrict, Sylvester Powell, Camille Hyde, Mitchell Edwards, Netta Walker and Rhoyle Ivy King. Peyton Alex Smith and Kelly Jenrette will recur.
All American: Homecoming is created and executive produced by Nkechi Okoro Carroll who serves as co-showrunner alongside executive producer Marqui Jackson. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Robbie Rogers, and Lindsay Dunn also serve as executive producers. The series is produced by Berlanti Productions, Rock My Soul Productions and CBS Studios in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter The upcoming Peacock series adaptation based on the Liz Moore novel “Long Bright River” has added three new series regulars, Variety has learned. Ashleigh Cummings, Callum Vinson, and John Doman have all joined the show alongside previously announced lead Amanda Seyfried as well as Nicholas Pinnock. The series is described as a suspense thriller that “tells the story of Mickey (Seyfried), a police officer who patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood hard-hit by the opioid crisis.
Designer Jeremiah Brent has joined Netflix‘s Queer Eye for Season 9, following Bobby Berk’s exit in November following 8 seasons. Production on Season 9 is set to begin in Las Vegas later this spring.
Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy, Only Murders In The Building) will produce and star in Prime Video’s Costiera, an Italian action-drama series filmed in English and directed by Emmy award winner Adam Bernstein (Breaking Bad, Fargo). The series is currently in production.
Jaden Thompson Dermot Mulroney and Evan Jonigkeit have been cast as series regulars in the upcoming drama series “The Hunting Wives” at Starz. They will play the respective husbands of previously announced co-leads Malin Åkerman and Brittany Snow.

The second season will once again see Pedro Alonso returning as the title character, along with fellow cast members Michelle Jenner as Keila, Tristán Ulloa as Damián, Begoña Vargas as Cameron, Julio Peña Fernández as Roi, and Joel Sánchez as Bruce. The Spanish-language series serves as a prequel to the events of “Money Heist” (a.k.a “La casa de papel”).
