Marks and Spencer is selling a pair of denim shorts giving shoppers the confidence back to show their legs this summer. The shorts, which have been hailed 'respectable' by some women, have a gorgeous design that could easily be mistaken for a skirt.
The £35 M&S Collection Denim Pleat Front Belted Shorts are a comfy and spacious take on a classic style. Unlike other denim shorts on the market, they don't cling, and have a little more length, so will flatter curvier figures without making you feel self-conscious.
Cut in a flattering paperbag shape, they have a stylish D-ring belt on the high waist, which will cinch you in for a slimmed-down look. Subtle pleat detailing on the front adds a tailored touch.

The Denim Pleat Front Belted Shorts are proving a popular summer wardrobe upgrade with M&S shoppers, and have an average rating of 4.8 out of five stars. They've been flooded with five-star reviews, and haven't been scored any lower than a small handful of three-star ratings.
One impressed Marks and Spencer shopper said of the Denim Pleat Front Belted Shorts: "True to size and very flattering with a high waist. The denim is soft and extremely comfortable. The shorts look great with a T shirt tucked in or worn with a boxy cropped
