In the interview, host Bobbi Althoff asked about the frivolous things that a typical billionaire might spend their fortunes on, and Mark dismissed them as something he’d do.
“I just try to be the same person, I mean, as I was when I was poor, middle, and rich,” Mark shared, while telling her that he doesn’t hire any kind of workers to clean inside his home, cook his meals, or drive for him.
There was also a rumor a few years ago that he had purchased a yacht, which he says he didn’t do: “[It's] just not what I would do.”
“I like the privacy,” he then explained about why he doesn’t. “I’ve been around people who hire somebody to do everything for them, and that’s just, like, no privacy.”
