Marisa Tomei says that she still hasn’t been paid for her work in The King of Staten Island, nearly three years after she filmed the movie.
The Oscar-winning actress played the mother of Pete Davidson‘s character in the movie that was directed by Judd Apatow.
In a new interview, Marisa was asked about playing Pete‘s mom and she said she just talked to him to ask if he had been paid.

“I actually just was talking to Pete today, because I was like, ‘I never got paid for that. Did you? In this age of transparency, can we talk?’” Marisa told Rolling Stone.
She continued, “But despite that, I had a rollicking good time. [With director] Judd [Apatow]’s approach to improv — which is extensive — I was intimidated. I’m with all these stand-ups. It was so freeing. Really changed how I approach each character going forward.
