Mariah Carey made a guest appearance at this year’s BET Awards, where she joined Latto for a performance of ‘Big Energy’.The BET Awards, which took place last night (June 26), included a number of performances from the likes of Jack Harlow, Lizzo and Chance The Rapper.Latto took to the stage to perform her single, which originally came out in September, with Carey appearing on a new remix in March.For the performance of ‘Big Energy’, Young Dirty Bastard opened, with Carey later belting out a high note hidden behind a screen. The screen eventually lifted to reveal Carey as she performed her verse.

Best New Artist trophy at the 2022 BET Awards, Latto gave viewers one of the best performances of Sunday night's ceremony. The 23-year-old began with her new single, «It’s Givin,» dancing on a desk surrounded by dancers in center stage. She smoothly segued into her mega-hit, «Big Energy,» with Young Dirty Bastard joining the rapper to pay homage to his father, the late Ol' Dirty Bastard. Young Dirty Bastard rapped his verse from the «Fantasy» remix, which Latto's track features.  2022 BET Awards: See All of the Star-Studded Performances! Then, to the surprise of the audience, Latto directed attention to a silhouette positioned center stage, which then dissolved into a kaleidoscope of butterflies as Carey belted out her signature high note.

Diddy, just Diddy and most recently, simply Love. As West attests below, he is no stranger to changing names: Last year he legally changed his name to “Ye.” Below, he speaks movingly of Combs’ influence on him, stressing that he considers him an artist — and it is easy the influence of Combs viewing his entire creative and business output as part of a whole.
