Manchester United youngster Finley McAllister said it was an 'unbelievable feeling' to have contributed to England Under-17s' eye-catching 10-0 win over New Caledonia in their World Cup opener on Saturday.
The young Three Lions made the perfect start to their World Cup campaign in Indonesia, blowing their opponents away in style. They raced into a 4-0 lead by half-time and added another six goals to their collection after the restart, meaning they have taken up residency at the top of Group C.
United midfielder McAllister, who has made six appearances for the Reds' Under-18s in the Under-18s Premier League so far this season, scoring two goals and grabbing two assists, stepped off the bench just past the hour mark with England already six goals to the good. He replaced Chelsea's Reiss-Alexander Russell-Denny.

McAllister, who turned 17 in July, wasted no time in making an impact, teeing up fellow substitute Ethan Nwaneri, who is a product of Arsenal's academy, to score the Three Lions' seventh goal of the game. He laid the ball off to him on the edge of the penalty area and he bent home a sumptuous effort.
McAllister got himself on the scoresheet in the first minute of injury time, driving a low shot through a crowded penalty area into the bottom corner to complete the scoring and move England into double figures. It was a sweet strike from the youngster to score what was his first international goal.
"Unbelievable feeling to score my first international goal for my country in a World Cup finals along with an assist and a perfect start to the tournament," McAllister
