John O'Shea thinks Antony would bring balance to Manchester United's attack.
Erik Ten Hag views Antony, 22, as the potential solution to United's long-standing right-wing problem. United have spent £120m on right-wingers across the past two seasons, yet the position remains an obvious problem with Jadon Sancho playing on the left last season.
Antony contributed 12 goals and 10 assists in 32 appearances for Ajax last term, which was an improvement on his already impressive debut campaign at the club. The Brazilian is also known to have a healthy relationship with Ten Hag and United are pursuing a deal.

O'Shea was asked about United's interest this week and the former defender predicted Antony could bring balance to the attack.
“Despite Manchester United’s interest in Antony, there are other positions that they will focus on, maybe in centre midfield and also at the back," O'Shea told Paddy Power. “What they’ll be looking at with Antony is the balance of the team.
"He’s left footed and the wide attackers United already have in Sancho, Rashford and Elanga are all right footed.
"He’ll bring balance into the squad. The manager knows him well and hopefully Erik ten Hag has picked him because he’ll settle in well and be a nice piece in the jigsaw.”
