Manchester United's hopes of securing Champions League football took a hit on Saturday night as the Reds were held to a 1-1 draw at Brentford in dramatic fashion.
Mason Mount thought he had given United a vital three points at the Gtech Community Stadium but his injury time goal was cancelled out by Kristoffer Ajer.
The draw means Erik ten Hag's men remain some distance away from Aston Villa and Tottenham in the race for Champions League football. The two rivals were victorious earlier in the day with victories over Wolves and Luton Town respectively.

Fortunately for United, they may have a lifeline. The new Champions League format means there are four extra places available for next season's competition. Two will go to the qualifying rounds, which United would not be eligible for. However, the other two will be handed to the two best-performing leagues in Europe this season.
If England are one of the two best-performing nations in Europe this season, fifth place in the Premier League will become a Champions League spot, sixth and seventh Europa League spots and eighth a Conference League place.
Therefore, English teams doing well in European competitions this term could benefit United, but they'll still believe they can clinch qualification for the Champions League by finishing fourth.
