"We've met with them on a number of occasions to hear their stories and whilst all of them have now got somewhere else to live in bricks and mortar accommodation, not all of them want to stay in that longer term. The site, which dates back to the early 1980s, has been vacant since residents left last summer following a period of 'serious conflict' within the community. Violent attacks took place across the North West including at Dantzic Street since summer 2020 with some caravans set on fire after being abandoned.
