Phil Jones overlooked Cristiano Ronaldo when naming his dream five-a-side team for Manchester United.
Having spent almost two years on the sidelines with a troublesome knee injury, Jones made his first appearance in 707 days for the Old Trafford giants last season when he started against Wolves in January. He made a further seven appearances under former interim manager Ralf Rangnick in all competitions.
Despite that comeback, the 30-year-old faces an uncertain future heading into the summer transfer window. Jones has 12 months left to run on his contract, but United are keen to strengthen at centre-back with Ajax prospect Jurrien Timber at the top of their shopping list in that regard.

Should a reasonable offer come in for Jones this summer, United would be prepared to part ways with the defender after 11 years. He has played 228 matches in that time and also remains one of the last-standing members of the Premier League title-winning squad from 2013 — the last time United got their hands on the big one.
For more than a decade, Jones has mixed it with the great and good at United, largely under Sir Alex Ferguson.
But who makes it into his five-a-side team past and present? Jones revealed his selections during an interview with the MUFC website.
Edwin van der Sar got the nod between the posts, with Steve Bruce and Nemanja Vidic in defence. Ronaldo did not get selected, though, as Jones instead opted for two other United greats, Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney, to finish off his line-up.
