A worker at Manchester Airport has shared his top tips for passengers to help them make the most of their experience. Going on holiday is exciting but flying can be stressful for some, especially as many people only pass through the airport on rare occasions.

His role entails making sure passengers have a smooth experience while in the airport and helping them with any issues. Ethan can work across all three terminals and deals with airlines and handling agents too.

He said: “My main advice once you are through security and in the departure lounge is to always keep an eye on flight information screens throughout the lounge. This means once the screens display 'Go to the gate', You know you will arrive at the gate in plenty of time to board.”
When boarding is announced you may leap up immediately in the hope of getting on the plane sooner, but Ethan suggests it’s better to remain seated until your row is announced - so you don’t have to
