A 59-year-old man who died after being hit by a car in Chadderton has been named as Mark Armstrong.
Mr Armstrong was walking on Broadway, near the junction with Foxdenton Lane, at around 10.05pm on Friday (October 8) when he was struck by the vehicle.
He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Rochdale Coroners' Court today (Tuesday) confirmed that a file in relation to his death has now been received.
