A man who was killed after being hit by a car near Fairfield General Hospital in Bury had been taken to A&E by police before the incident.
The man, aged 37, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene on Rochdale Old Road after being hit by a car at around 5.30pm last night (Tuesday).
The driver of the car assisted officers and no arrests have been made, police said.
