Roy Keane has revealed the hilarious moment his first team talk as a manger went wrong at Sunderland.
The former Manchester United captain made his first foray into management back in 2006 when he took over at the Stadium of Light.
He proved to be a success with the Black Cats, guiding them to promotion back to the Premier League before leaving the club in 2008.
Keane recently held talks over a possible return to Sunderland before turning down the opportunity, and has returned to his regular punditry role, with Alex Neil instead taking over on Wearside.

And, speaking during The Overlap Live, Keane revealed how the team talk ahead of his first game in charge didn’t quite go to plan.
“My first team talk at Sunderland, we played Derby away, and I’d spoken to groups of players before but this was the first time I’d spoken to a group of players,” Keane said.
“Before the team, we were in the hotel near Derby, and I’m speaking to the players and thinking ‘I’ve got to get this right now, I’ve got to win the players over’. You over-analyse stuff sometimes in your head.
“I was speaking about Derby, and I went on about their goalkeeper a bit long, I said their goalkeeper’s not great, not great on crosses, somebody nail him in the first few minutes, and I kept going on, but there was a player in the background, David Connolly, one of the strikers.
