A man sexually assaulted a girl as part of years of 'systematic' abuse, prosecutors allege. Hyman Greenburg, 47, denies sexually abusing the girl in the early 2000s.
Prosecutors allege he 'groomed' and 'systematically' sexually abused the child. "He said he didn't privately interact with her, and says he didn't touch her sexually at at all any occasion," Matthew Curtis, prosecuting, told a jury.
Mr Greenburg said their interactions would have been 'limited by the social and religious norms' of the Jewish community in which they lived.
Jurors at Minshull Street Crown Court heard the alleged abuse began when Mr Greenburg rubbed the child's breasts over her clothing.

Prosecutors allege Mr Greenburg later caused the child to touch his penis and 'made' her perform oral sex on him. It was alleged Mr Greenburg touched her breasts again and would again cause her to touch his penis. It was also claimed he performed oral sex on the child in a separate incident.
While she was a teenager, the girl said she believed Mr Greenburg 'loved' her. Sexual contact continued between the two when she turned 16, which the girl consented to, jurors heard.
Shortly after, she stopped sexual contact with him. Years later, she spoke with Mr Greenburg after she began to 'realise what had happened was wrong', Mr Curtis said.
Jurors heard she spoke with Mr Greenburg and he was allegedly 'remorseful' and 'offered to pay for therapy'. The alleged victim came forward to police and Mr Greenburg was interviewed by officers.
He denied the allegations and is currently on trial. "He maintains that the
