An angry man has taken to social media to vent his frustration after a “selfish” driver parked an Audi outside their child’s school.
Photos show the white Audi, pictured close to the school but parked fully on the pavement, blocking almost the entire pathway.
The driver's behaviour has been branded "unacceptable" by parents who thought the man was right to raise the issue.
After the man took to Facebook to moan about the the poor parking, the image received an array of comments, mainly from other angry drivers.
The problem parking took place outside St Bartholomew’s School in Rainhill and has so far received no response from the primary, according to Liverpool Echo.
In the post, the frustrated man said: “Why do some people who are collecting children from St Bart’s believe that it’s totally acceptable to park on the pavement?
“Where is the common sense in thinking it’s okay to park your car completely on the pavement?
“How do you think people in wheelchairs, with prams or, in this case, walking with the aid of a stick, will be able to get past safely?
“Are they so selfish that all they care about is themselves?
“This person (the Audi driver) then proceeded to argue with my parents, who took the picture, that it was acceptable as they had an emergency call and needed to collect children from Rainhill High and St Bart’s, IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE and you have been reported.”
While many were quick to criticise the parking, a few people tried to see both sides of the situation and looked for possible reasons for the “selfish” parking.
One comment said: “I completely get your frustration but maybe their child has additional needs and is not road aware and this is their safest option.”
Some were not so understanding, however, branding
