Edinburgh this afternoon. Emergency services raced to George Street around 3pm after a pedestrian was hit by a bus.The crash happened as police and bomb disposal units dealt with a separate incident nearby.Emergency services cordoned off the scene near St Andrews Square.

Emergency services were called to High Street, Bonnybridge, at around 5.30pm on Friday September, 17.Officers say the 54-year-old in a serious condition, but his injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening.There are reports the man was treated for stab injuries, however this is unconfirmed at this time.Pictures from the scene shared on social media showed a number of cops and paramedics treating the man.No arrests have been made at this stage.

Edinburgh yesterday afternoon. The woman had to be rescued from the tracks after she had fallen from one of the platforms.Edinburgh Live reported that police, fire and paramedics all attended the incident, which took place just after 2pm yesterday.
