A man in his 40s has been taken to hospital after being rescued from a crash on a major road near Salford Quays.
Emergency services rushed to Trafford Road, near the junction with Phoebe Street in Ordsall, following a crash at around 2.30pm this afternoon (June 17).
Police, firefighters and paramedics all attended the scene, where three vehicles had been involved in the collision.
