A man has been taken to hospital in Glasgow after being struck by a car.
Police and paramedics were called to Holmlea Crescent in the Cathcart area of the city at 5.05pm after reports of a man being hit by a vehicle.
As a result of the incident the male was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in the city .
His condition is not known at this stage.
A section of Holmlea Road has been closed with local diversions currently in place.
