A young man was taken to hospital after a fight broke out in Whitefield.
Police were called to Thatch Leach Lane just after 8pm on Tuesday (June 1) to reports of a fight.
During the altercation, a man in his 20s was assaulted. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Witnesses described seeing a large police presence outside several shops on the street.
