A Minnesota man is accused of murdering and dismembering his pregnant sister — and cops say he did it because he was angry that she was “no longer innocent.”
According to a press release sent out on Tuesday by the Dakota County Attorney’s Office, Jack Joseph Ball has been arrested and charged with murdering his sister, Bethany Israel, as well as her unborn child. Officials in the county, which is a semi-rural area southeast of Minneapolis, say the murder occurred on the night of May 23.

According to the attorney’s office, Bethany had gone to Jack’s home to have dinner. But family members became concerned later that evening when she failed to return home afterwards. One unnamed family member went to Ball’s house to see if he could re-trace Bethany’s steps. When the family member got there, they saw Jack leaving the scene. Then, per the prosecutors’ release, when the concerned relative went inside the home, they found “a significant amount of blood.”
OMG…
They immediately called the police. When cops showed up, prosecutors say the officers found bloody knives and dismembered body parts believed to belong to Israel. Holy s**t!! But somehow, it gets worse. Ball was quickly tracked down in the nearby town of Rosemount. There, a homeowner called in to report that a man had placed a body part on the front steps of his house. WTF?! Officers in Rosemount responded quickly and detained Ball. By the time they caught up with him, he had a wound on his neck that authorities believe to have been self-inflicted.
Ball was booked into jail and officially charged with two counts of second-degree murder — one for

Comedian Bill Burr called out the hypocrisy of liberals during a show on UC Berkeley’s campus over the weekend, reportedly telling the audience that he “f—ing hate[s]” them.Burr, never one to shy away from controversial topics, covered everything from his relationship with his wife and the ongoing Israel-Gaza war, to transgender rights and Biden’s cognitive decline, before wading into his issues with liberals, the San Francisco Gate reported.“I f—ing hate liberals,” Burr reportedly told the audience on Saturday. The outlet said it was clear he was referring specifically to “White liberals,” and that he took issue with their hypocrisy, not necessarily their political ideology. He proceeded to call out people who put “Black Lives Matter” signs in their windows without taking any quantifiable actions.“That’s like if I told you my great-grandmother in Germany had a ‘Knock it off, Nazis’ sign,” he said, according to the outlet. The comic continued, “If you run into a White person who says they’re an empath, run the other way.” Burr said such people “like making other peoples’ suffering about [themselves].”At a different point in the show, Burr seemed surprised at how the Berkeley crowd laughed at a joke about President Biden having dementia, SF Gate reported. This isn’t the first time Burr took the opportunity to air his frustration with liberals in public.
Alissa Simon Film Critic In what seems like an odd choice for an English-language remake, helmer-writer Savi Gabizon transfers the action of his least successful Israeli drama, “Longing” (2017), to Canada. Alas, the story of a confirmed bachelor who learns that he fathered a son 19 years earlier fails to translate by striking far too many duff notes. Richard Gere struggles as the unlikable protagonist, whose attempts to learn more about the lad come off as creepy rather than poignant.

Disturbed frontman David Draiman has lashed out at Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters, describing him as “anti-Semitic to his rotten core”.The singer, who is Jewish, shared his opinion of the rock veteran during a new interview with Linda Advocate, in which he looked back at the considerable accusations of anti-Semitism Waters has faced over recent years. The Pink Floyd icon has made headlines countless times in the past for his often-unfiltered political opinions – namely his criticism of the State of Israel. One particular example took place back in February, when he criticised Bono, describing him as “disgusting” and “a shit”, following the U2 frontman using his Sphere residency shows to pay respect to those killed during the October 7 attack at the Israeli music festival Supernova.A separate time saw him accuse Israel of “abusing the term anti-Semitism to intimidate people like me into silence”, and back in November he speculated that the “fishy” attacks perpetrated by Hamas on October 7 could have been a “false flag operation”.He has repeatedly denied all accusations of anti-Semitism and explained that his disdain is towards Israel, not Judaism. Now, Draiman – who has been vocal about his feelings towards Waters in the past – has once again addressed the accusations surrounding the musician and described him as a “monster”.“He’s a piece of work, that deluded old freak,” he began. Draiman continued: “Antisemitic to his rotten core.
