A man claims he was left with a broken nose and bruises after an incident involving bouncers outside a nightclub in Manchester's Gay Village. Dan, 20, who asked for his surname not to be published, shared photos of his injuries with the Manchester Evening News but asked for them not to be reproduced.
He says he went for something before heading on an evening out, finishing his night at Bloom nightclub in the Gay Village in the early hours of Friday, June 4. Dan claims that after 'getting into a heated discussion with someone' in the smoking area outside the building, he was pushed backwards.
He says a 'group' of bouncers then 'grabbed' him and 'slammed' him onto the floor. Dan says he hit his head. He claims one of his friends told him a security guard 'repeatedly' hit him. Dan says he was 'knocked out completely' and that when he came round, he was taken into a back room by a staff member.

He says he was picked up by his mum, who took him to A&E, where he had a CT scan. Dan was told he had a broken nose. Greater Manchester Police said the incident was reported and that an investigation is ongoing.
A Manchester council spokesman said: "We can confirm that we're aware of this incident."
In a statement, the venue apologised on behalf of the security company it uses and offered 'deepest apologies to the people involved'. A spokesperson said the parties involved were 'instantly dismissed'.
