A man is to appear in court after a police officer was allegedly 'coughed at by someone claiming to have coronavirus' while responding to an incident in Piccadilly Gardens.
Mateusz Rejewski, 33, of no fixed abode, has been charged with common assault on an emergency service worker; and breaching a dispersal notice.
