A man and a woman were 'caught in the act' in the Sainsbury's car park in Fallowfield on Thursday (October 19).
Greater Manchester Police said the two people were arrested and taken into custody. They have since been issued with a police caution for outraging public decency.
The offence of outraging public decency is defined as when someone does something lewd, obscene or disgusting in nature in a public place or a place accessible to, or within view of, the public.

A short post shared by GMP Fallowfield about the incident said: "Two Police Cautioned! A male and female have been caught in the act on Sainsbury's car park today.
"Both were arrested and issued with a police caution for outraging public decency."
