Bing be any more important to “Friends”? “Friends” was the biggest show in the world when it aired from 1994-2004 (and, to this day, it’s still a hit on streaming services). It wouldn’t have been the same without Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), who managed to be the heart, soul and sarcastic funny bone of the show. On Saturday, Perry tragically died at age 54, reportedly by drowning in a hot tub at his California home.
