A warrant was issued today for the arrest of a man accused of embezzling more than £80,000 from his grandfather.
Shaun Garwood, 31, is accused of embezzling a total of £80,0037 from the elderly man, 77 later this month, over a six period.
It is alleged that Garwood, of Crossford, Dunfermline, used a bank card belonging to his grandfather, Bernard Devlin, on various occasions between February 2015 and February last year (2021) to purchase goods online, withdraw money from cash machines, and transfer funds to his own bank account, all without Mr Devliin's permission.
The transactions are alleged to have been carried out at an address in Grangemouth, Stirlingshire, and elsewhere.

Garwood failed to appear at a procedural hearing in his case at Stirling Sheriff Court today.
Defence solicitor Alastair Ross said Garwood had not been in touch with his agents.
