A 62-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a lorry this afternoon.
Emergency services closed Mount Road, Gorton, in both directions after the incident at around 12.50pm.
The crash happened between Melland Road and Thomson Road.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said the collision had been between a lorry and a pedestrian.
The 62-year-old man is in hospital and his injuries
