A man has been arrested after two murals in Manchester's Gay Village were daubed with vile homophobic and transphobic graffiti.
Disgusting abuse was daubed over artworks on two walls just a short distance from Canal Street on Saturday, June 26.
Police were called to the area after visitors noticed the words "dirty b******s" and “666” had been written across the murals, with the swear word being misspelled.
