A man was arrested after a seven-hour stand-off with emergency services on the roof of a building in south Manchester.
The incident, which saw a main road in Whalley Range closed, was finally concluded after the man was brought down in the early hours.
Police said they attended an address on Withington Road at around 5:50pm on Friday evening in order to arrest a wanted man.
