When asked if he sees the latter as “a third brother” – as previously stated by Dave Davies – Ray recalled how the two were “always arguing”, but the tensions have since “mellowed down”.He also reflected on previous comments he made back in 2018, which saw him pique fans’ interest by claiming he was in the process of reforming The Kinks and working on new material.“Well, it got shelved because of… other issues,” he revealed when asked for an update.
Owen Gleiberman Chief Film Critic Rockism, in case you don’t know the term, is the school of thought that holds the noisy “purity” of rock ‘n’ roll to be morally and aesthetically superior to the “corruption” of pop. There are numerous iconic examples of rockism.

The Golden Bachelor ended on quite the cliffhanger following Leslie's, Faith's, and Theresa's . (Spoiler warning: Stop reading now if you haven't seen the November 2 episode). After giving Theresa a half-baked ‘love you’ in response to her declaration, he really went there with Faith and Leslie, thereby basically telling all three ladies that he was in love with them, or loves them, or whatever you want to call it when you're on a reality TV dating show.
“Now and Then”arrives like a gift from that glorious Abbey Road in the sky on Thursday — despite the fact that John Lennon and George Harrison died in 1980 and 2001, respectively, leaving surviving Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr to finish the long-buried track on the right side of the dirt. And if you think that it’s the result of some magical mystery trickery of AI defiling the sacred ground that is the Beatles back catalog, thankfully, you’d be wrong. While “the last Beatles song” certainly benefits from advancements in technology that allowed it to finally be released — five decades after Lennon wrote and recorded the demo at his Dakota residence on New York’s Central Park West in the ’70s — “Now and Then” is a real Beatles tune that feels like it somehow got stuck in some mop-topped time warp before the “Imagine” singer was murdered in 1980. It’s a nostalgic trip back to the Baby Boomer glory days of yesteryear.
