Married At First Sight UK fans were left confused on Monday night as Kwame Badu "returned" to do a voiceover for the hit E4 reality series. Viewers will recall that Kwame left the experiment last week after Kasia London chose to leave their marriage while he had picked to stay at the final Commitment Ceremony.
Ahead of Monday's episode, Kwame delivered a voiceover for the E4 series as he said: "Hi MAFS fans, Kwame here, miss me? Of course you do! "Well dry your eyes because you're about to see how they're getting on without me now here on E4!" Viewers were left confused over the moment as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts. One person said: "Why is Kwame doing E4 voice-overs? #MAFSUK." A different account put: "Why is Kwame introducing #MAFSUK?" Another follower wrote: "Not Kwame doing a voiceover ! #MAFSUK #mafs #MarriedAtFirstSightuk." While a different viewer added: "They got Kwame to announce tonight's episode #mafsuk" with a laughing emoji.
It comes as Kwame addressed his show exit last week, writing on Instagram: "Big thank you to all who supported my journey. I tried my best and learnt so much.
"You guys are amazing shout out to my MAFS family I'll miss you all.Thanks for all the loving messages." During the Commitment Ceremony, Kasia became emotional as she described how she'd visited Kwame's home but just went to the park. She said: "He didn't bring to the table what I brought to the table." Getting choked up, she added: "Every corner of my story when I spoke Kwame intervened and made a joke." To which Kwame said: "I never want to make you feel like that and I apologise."
