MAFS' Shona reveals she’s found love with ‘kindest soul’ in emotional post after Brad split

During her time on Married at First Sight UK, Shona Manderson was undoubtedly on an emotional rollercoaster with her now ex-husband Brad Skelly. Despite it appearing like love at first sight, with the couple saying the L-word very early on in their relationship, things soon turned sour when the experts asked them to leave the show.
Dating gurus, Mel Schilling, Paul Brunson and Charlene Douglas, were forced to intervene when they witnessed Brad exhibiting controlling behaviour towards his wife on the Channel 4 show. But it appears that Shona is moving onwards and upwards in the outside world and has not only found self-love, but a romantic spark with someone else.
In an emotional Instagram post, the star reflected on her time on the show and also how Brad treated her. She wrote: "So that’s my journey over and this is my last lengthy MAFS post.
The woman who walked into that hen do is back but stronger than before.
"I applied for MAFS for love but unfortunately the person I was matched with was there to promote himself as a meditation guide, he love bombed me and ultimately I was sent home for his horrible behaviour." Shona then went onto explain that she felt "blindsided" in the experiment as Brad would constantly say "I love you" following any arguments they had. She also revealed the 27-year-old 'lied' to people about the reason why they left the show and said it was because they "found love in each other." Shona continued: "The experiment wasn’t to blame he was the same person on the outside and when we finally went our separate ways he told me he never loved me, it was just a TV show, it was lust and he never had any emotional attachment to me whatsoever.
