Miley Cyrus has scored the longest-running UK Number One single for a female artist since Adele’s ‘Easy On Me’.The US star’s latest single ‘Flowers’ has held the top spot on the Official UK Singles Chart since January 13.As it claimed the Number One position for a seventh week yesterday (March 3), Cyrus became the longest-running female artist at the top of the charts since Adele dominated them with ‘Easy On Me’. That single spent eight non-consecutive weeks at Number One between 2021 and 2022.As well as holding on to the top spot, ‘Flowers’ also remains the most-streamed song in the UK, according to the Official Charts Company.

Piers Morgan has said King Charles is evicting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to save the monarchy. The Talk TV presenter said the King made the move to save the monarchy and its reputation "from these two flamethrowers, who keep wanting to trash it and burn it to the ground". Morgan, discussing the Sussexes being evicted from their UK base, told viewers: "I think they are a malevolent duo intent on fleecing their royal titles for hundreds of millions of dollars and causing untold damage to their family and the institution in the process.

A body found in search of a missing woman has been officially identified by police as that of Laurel Aldridge.

Things are not looking so good for those hoping for a quick reconciliation between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with his family.

Naman Ramachandran Kevin Lygo, managing director, media and entertainment at ITV, has revealed what he thinks are the key ingredients to the success of the upcoming revival of “Big Brother” on the U.K. commercial broadcaster this fall. The British version of the iconic reality TV series is set to return to screens this year after what will be a five-year hiatus on network ITV2 and streaming platform ITVX. From its launch in 2000 until 2010 the show aired on Channel 4 before moving to Channel 5 in 2011. It ran there for seven years until Channel 5 finally retired the format in 2018.  Speaking to the media during an earnings call after ITV declared its 2022 financial results, Lygo said: “The key to ‘Big Brother’ is to keep it like it was in its golden period – to have it more interesting, intelligent, upmarket etc. than other reality shows. It’s a great addition to have in the autumn [fall] period.”

Police searching for the sister-in-law of The Office star Mackenzie Crook have found a body. Laurel Aldridge, 62, was last seen in the Walberton area in West Sussex 11 days ago, with Mackenzie previously urging the public for help in finding her.
