Emmerdale's Lydia Dingle is about to share a charged moment with her long lost pal Craig Reed, spoilers have revealed. Craig and Lydia have been reunited after they bumped into each other at a recruitment fair while Lydia was looking for extra work.
They shared a catch-up and updated one another about their lives since they last saw each other in the children's home all of those years ago. Lydia is now working for Craig, and he has made himself at home with the Dingle family, impressing Lydia's stepson Samson.
Despite that, on Monday, 4 September, Craig confuses Lydia and her partner, Sam Dingle, when he turns up unannounced at Wishing Well. Craig is hoping that he can speak to Lydia about their past, and despite being nervous she agrees, and she offers to take him to where their baby was laid to rest. As the episode continues, the pair look over to where their baby's ashes are scattered, and they begin to wonder what their life would have looked like.
Viewers will recall how hard it was for Lydia to open up about her past to Sam, but she bonds with Craig over their shared grief for their baby. When they return, the pair share a charged moment, and she later decides to keep the almost kiss from Sam. When she returns back home, Sam is unaware of what has happened between her and Craig.
However, Lydia is left thinking about where her renewed connection with Craig will lead. Will the connection between Lydia and Craig end there, or will it continue? Elsewhere, the drama continues for Caleb Milligan as his business tries to move away from the illegal deals that ended up with him in a dangerous situation last week. As well as trying to sort his business out, he is trying to keep the peace between father and son duo Nate
