Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.Hedlund will appear in the series regular role of Mitch Keller, an Oklahoma native and ex bull-rider who retired prematurely after injuries led to addiction.

Paramount+ has dropped a sneak peek of Sylvester Stallone as a New York mafia capo in the upcoming series “Tulsa King.” The 75-year-old actor is set to star as mob boss Dwight “The General” Manfredi in the new show from “Yellowstone,” “Mayor of Kingstown” and “1883” creator Taylor Sheridan. While an official release date has not been announced, the first episode is expected to drop in the fall of 2022. The streaming platform shared the photo on social media, showing Stallone standing in the middle of a city street in a dark suit and looking off into the distance.

Taylor Sheridan (“Wind River,” “Sicario“) has been putting together a television empire at Paramount that would make Dick Wolf (“Law & Order“) jealous after multiple “Yellowstone” shows and the Jeremy Renner thriller series “Mayor of Kingstown,” and even more is on the horizon. One of those new projects is gangster series “Tulsa King” which sees Sly Stallone (“Cop Land“) in a more dramatic role for the beloved action star.
