Joe Otterson TV ReporterAMC’s upcoming animated drama “Pantheon” is filling out its main cast.Paul Dano, Taylor Schilling, Aaron Eckhart and Rosemarie Dewitt have all been cast in the series, Variety has confirmed. It was picked up for two seasons back in March.The one-hour show is based on a series of short stories by Ken Liu about Uploaded Intelligence, or human consciousness uploaded to the cloud.

No writer is currently attached, but Fox Entertainment will produce.

He takes over the role from Andy Garcia.

Joe Otterson TV ReporterCBS Television Studios and the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) have come to a multi-year content partnership agreement.Under the deal, the two organizations will work together to develop and produce scripted, unscripted, and documentary projects for linear and streaming platforms. The partnership will be aimed toward elevating a diverse range of voices as well as increasing the visibility of Black artists.

Che will star in the series, with each episode set to tackle a different theme or incident — such as police brutality, unemployment, or falling in love — from a Black vantage point.“I’m really excited to be working on this show with HBO Max” said Che.

The series is created by and executive produced by Darren Star with Lily Collins starring as the titular Emily in addition to producing.“Emily in Paris” was one of few scripted series set to air on Paramount Network in the near future.

Bergman directed the series with Liv Ullmann and Erland Josephson starring.

Joe Otterson TV ReporterA reboot of “The Wonder Years” has landed a pilot production commitment at ABC.The new half-hour comedy series would focus on how a black middle class family in Montgomery, Alabama in the turbulent late 1960’s made sure it was The Wonder Years for them too.  That puts the new show in the same time period as the original series, which was set between 1968 and 1973. A mini writer’s room for the show will be opened once ABC approves a pilot script.Saladin K.
