More than 50 beaches all across Scotland have received recognition at the prestigious Scotland's Beach Awards.

The winners of the 2024 Scottish Baker of the Year Awards have been crowned, and a "lovely" bakery has taken home the top prize.
Over the weekend, this year's Scottish Baker of the Year Awards were held in Glasgow — with bakeries from across the country going head-to-head. The annual awards, which began in 2012, reward the top baked goods made in Scotland.
The winner of the overall Scottish Baker of the Year Award was The Bread Guy in Aberdeen. Beating out more than 60 other bakeries for the coveted prize, the artisan bakery also received a National Gold award for its Made Without Gluten Bread.
The Bread Guy operates four shops across Aberdeen, as well as another in the nearby town of Inverurie. As well as bread, its products include butteries, cakes, sticky toffee puddings, and sandwich platters.
Taking to its official Facebook page to share the news, The Bread Guy wrote: "What an amazing night! We are all still in shock!
"Thank you to all our amazing team, customers and supporters!"
Since being shared on Sunday, the post has received more than 260 likes. Plenty of customers were also quick to post their thoughts in the comments.
One Facebook user wrote: "Well done to Gary, Donna, Darius, Richard, Shanya, Amber, Lily and everyone else involved in the Bread Guys success. This is a HUGE achievement for The Bread Guy to win such a title!"
"Fantastic news, congratulations and very well deserved," a second echoed, while a third commented: "Well done, lovely baker great rowies."
