Love Island viewers point out secret ‘bitter’ feud

Dressage rider Gemma Owen had fans in tears as she shared a heart-warming video of the moment she returned home after two months in the Love Island villa. Gemma, the daughter of former Liverpool, Manchester United and England footballer Michael, posted a touching clip on her Instagram of her walking through the door of the plush family abode to be met by her beloved pet dogs and horse.

After Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti were crowned the winners of the latest series of Love Island, a whole new host of singletons will be thinking about applying for the next season of the show. It has been revealed that Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti generated more half of the votes to take home the title of Love Island 2022 winners. According to ITV, the pair received 63.69% of the public vote, while Gemma Owen and Luca Bish - who came in second - had only 14.47%. Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope came in third place, and had 11.77% of the vote, as Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page were fourth with 10.07%.The news of the voting figures comes after ITV announced that a whopping 3.4 million people tuned in to watch the finale last night, Monday 1 August.

Davide Sanclimenti became a fan favourite during his eight-week stint in the Love Island villa, with his and Ekin-Su Culculoglu's romance capturing viewers' hearts. The 27 year old, who hails from Italy, took home the £50,000 prize fund with Ekin-Su, also 27, after they beat Luca Bish and Gemma Owen and were crowned the winners of Love Island 2022.

One couple will be crowned the winner of Love Island on Monday night as the eight-week long series reaches the final. Viewers have watched the ITV dating show every night as the batch of single contestants fell in love, fell out and formed strong friendships.

Love Island stars Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack have secured the first place in this year’s final and fans are delighted. In last night Friday 29 July’s show all remaining couples were asked to select two other couples they deemed the least compatible. While fans fumed over the Islanders turning on Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu in the savage vote, Dami, 26, and Indiyah, 23, were the only couple not to receive any votes, ensuring their place in the 2022 final that will air live on Monday 1 August.
