Love Island star in terrifying hospital dash after losing consciousness at home

Love Island star Wes Nelson has revealed he was rushed to hospital after "randomly" beginning to lose his vision and consciousness at home. The reality TV star, 25, took to Instagram on Monday to share details of his terrifying hospital dash, but reassured fans he's "all good now". Wes said: "So yesterday I randomly started to lose vision/consciousness in my house! Managed to get to my neighbours who took care of me and got me to hospital in the ambulance.
"Won't go into detail but we did a bunch of tests and throughout the day and they've have told me I'm all good now." Wes then said he'd been given the "green light" to go ahead with his show in Glasgow on Tuesday. "I feel LOADS better today! Got the green light for TOUR tomorrow," the ex-Islander concluded his message to fans. Wes, who starred on Love Island in 2018 and came in fourth place with ex-girlfriend Megan Barton-Hanson, is about to embark on a tour of the UK and Ireland, including dates in cities such as Newcastle, Manchester, Dublin and London.
His tour is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday 9 May with a show at Studio Warehouse Glasgow. Wes turned to singing and songwriting after his Love Island stint and landed a record deal EMI Records in August 2020. In September 2020, he released his debut single, See Nobody, with Hardy Caprio, which made it to third place in the UK Singles Chart and ninth in the Irish Singles Chart.
