Harry Young has revealed he is going to become a dad.The Love Island star took to Instagram to announce his happy news that he's expecting a child with his girlfriend Erin Sandilands. In the snap was a board reading: "We are expecting! Due August 2023". Next to the sign was a white baby grow reading 'Baby Young', as well as a baby scan and a handful of kids' toys.
Fellow Love Islander Tyler Cruickshank lead the congratulatory messages writing: "Yes bro", as Chuggs Wallis added: "congratulations mate, let’s hope they inherit that devilish charm of yours". "Congratulations [red heart emoji]", continued Biggs-Marvin Chris. It's unclear how long Erin and Harry have been together, but the first snap of them shared to Harry's feed dates back to August 2022.
Harry found fame on Love Island in 2021 after becoming the first contestant to be recruited for the show via Tinder. He explained at the time that he never initially thought about signing up for the show until producers approached him through the dating app. Sharing that he had been single for a year and a half, Harry revealed: "Obviously, COVID then hit, so I haven't had the chance to date.
It was through Tinder that I signed up. "Over the past year, it was easier to start off an initial conversation online because pubs and clubs were closed." Harry had been selected from many Tinder members who applied for this year’s Love Island through the app. The process is thought to have attracted applications from across the UK.
After being chosen by producers, Harry, who hails from Glasgow, later admitted that he'd hidden an injury from them. He recalled to the Scottish Sun: "The build-up was the worst part for me as I tore a ligament in my knee. "I genuinely didn’t get nervous
