Love Island's Tanya Manhenga looks very different with bold purple hair transformation

After an impressive run on the latest season of Love Island that saw her couple up with now-boyfriend Shaq Mohammad and ultimately take fourth place, it seems Tanya Manhenga has been enjoying experimenting with different hair colours. After returning home from the villa, Tanya had already switched up her hair in preparation for the reunion, ditching her long jet black curls in favour of a soft ‘bronde’ shade – a combination of blonde and brunette – with a dark shadow root.
However, it seems Tanya is already ready for another major hair transformation, and has swapped the honey blonde highlights for a bold purple colour. Her new ‘do features a dark base colour, with highlights of bright purple running throughout it and an overall aubergine coloured hue.
Tanya is known for experimenting with different wigs to help her switch up her looks easily, and her latest look is no exception.Tagging her go-to extensionists in her Instagram post, Tanya revealed she’d returned to EA Hair for another fresh new colour and style, and had had her new wig fitted by the specialists. Apart from its bold colour, her new style had extra long, hip length extensions which were curled into loose glamorous curls.
She had also had her baby hairs carefully styled across her forehead which not only helped blend the wig seamlessly, but also added some extra detail to the look. Wearing a white satin dress, Tanya posed for photos as she showed off her brand new look, captioning her photo: “The darker the berry…..” with a purpler love heart emoji to celebrate the new colour transformation.
